The tagged boxing’s “Fight of the Century” will have its second version this January 2022, but on a different venue.

Retired boxing legends Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather Jr. confirmed that they will have a charity basketball game in January next year together with former NBA stars.

Originally planned to take place in Las Vegas Nevada, USA, a major change was suddenly announced, making the Philippines the final venue of the event.

Pacquiao confirmed the development and stated that it would take place before the May 9 national elections where he is currently running for president.

Meanwhile, Mayweather Jr., also confirmed the charity game in a video uploaded by Fighthype.com on YouTube.

The two boxing icons last met inside the ring six years ago in one of the biggest bouts to ever happen in the history of the sport.

Both fighters were ranked as the top two fighters of their generation, with Pacquiao becoming boxing’s only eight-division world champion and Mayweather Jr. the only undefeated boxer in 50 professional fights.

However, Pacman lost to Mayweather Jr. via unanimous decision with no knockdowns scored in the mega-fight.
