Amid the COVID-19 pandemic crisis, some PBA players helped in promoting a fund-raising E-sports tournament to help the UP Medical Foundation.

Marc Pingris, June Mar Fajardo, Japeth Aguilar, and Kiefer Ravena were some of the PBA stars who will join the fund-raising event and will be featured in the DOTA 2 show match.

The tourney will be organized by Mineski, one of the most popular E-games company in the country, will try to raise as much as 1 million pesos.

All proceeds of the event will then be donated to the UP Medical Foundation.

Aside from helping the UP Medical Foundation, the E-sports tourney also supports the Department of Health’s #stayathome campaign that encourages all Filipinos to stay in their homes and help prevent the spread of the virus.

“Meron na tayong magagawa, masusuportahan pa natin ang stay at home campaign ng DOH, at makakatulong pa tayo sa fronliners. Help us raise one-million Pesos para sa UP Medical Foundation,” said Pingris.

Call of Duty Mobile will start on March 30-April 2 while the most-awaited Dota 2 match featuring the PBA mainstays is scheduled on April 6.
