Want to join the country’s police force, or become a fireman or jail officer?
The Philippine National Police Academy (PNPA) is calling on police aspirants to take a pre-qualifying exam to enter the country’s premier public safety school.
Passing the PNPA Cadet Admission Test is the first step towards the cadet’s dream of entering the Philippine National Police (PNP), Bureau of Fire Protection, and the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP).
The PNPA is conducting its annual cadetship entrance examination that aims to measure the mental ability of the applicant in the areas of Math, English, and Reading and Comprehension, among others.
The PNPA-CAT will be administrated on August 2 nationwide.
There are two testing centers in Western Visayas – Iloilo National High School in La Paz, Iloilo City and Bacolod City National High School in Bacolod City.
To ensure a smooth and efficient examination process, the PNPA-CAT will be conducted in the morning and afternoon.
For the morning session, the test will begin at 9 a.m. and will conclude at 12 noon.
All examinees are strongly advised to be at their designated test centers early and bring with them all the necessary documents and needs for the exam. The gates will open at 6 a.m. to allow the examinees sufficient time to settle comfortably.
For the afternoon (PM) session, the exam will commence at 2 p.m. and will end at 5 p.m.
The gates will be opened at 11 a.m. for afternoon session examinees.
For inquiries, interested parties may reach Police Lieutenant Colonel Russel Tuazon Agustin, PNPA-CAT focal person, through mobile number 0917-321-0758.
