Roger Federer won’t be bugged by his right knee anymore after undergoing a successful operation last February.

After suffering an injury which hampered him during his semifinals showdown against Novak Djokovic last Australian Open, Federer said that he is feeling better and is already six weeks into his rehabilitation at home.

Federer also said that there is no exact time frame yet as to when he will make his comeback, especially with the COVID-19 pandemic.

“There is no stress, no rush. If there is anything positive about being in lockdown that’s the only thing really. I just want the knee to be good, it doesn’t matter when I return,” Federer said.

Federer was leading by a huge margin against Djokovic during their match but the Swiss Maestro claimed that his right knee started to feel sorer and sorer as the match went on which slowed him down.

“It’s ok, I had a really good first 6 weeks, then it was a bit slower, now it’s getting better again but I have plenty of time,” Federer added.
