BACOLOD City – Seven persons, including a minor were arrested in buy-bust operations here and in Negros Occidental over the weekend.
Personnel of Police Station 2 arrested John Michael Descutido, 22, of Barangay 2 here; Carl Stephen Arga, 29, of Barangay Bata here; and a minor, at Barangay 2 here yesterday.
Police recovered from Descutido and Arga 30 sachets of suspected shabu weighing 20 grams and valued at P300,000; and the P200 marked money.
Also arrested at Barangay Sum-ag here last Saturday was Lorenzo Alipan, 41, of Barangay Pansolongon, Isabela, Negros Occidental, after police seized from him eight sachets of suspected shabu worth P20,000. He is detained at Police Station 9.
In San Carlos City, Andreo Batcho, 26, of Barangay 5, a high value target was arrested at Barangay 6 that day after he allegedly yielded five sachets of suspected shabu weighing 10 grams worth P120,000, the P200 marked money, and drug paraphernalia.
In La Carlota City, Sonny Delos Santos, 32, of Barangay 1, a street level target was arrested at the said village last October 12.
Police confiscated from him 21 sachets of suspected shabu, the P300 marked money, and drug paraphernalia.
In Escalante City, Ronald Lobaton, 21, of Barangay Old Poblacion was arrested on the same day, for the recovery of four sachets of suspected shabu, the P500 marked money, a homemade .22 caliber magnum, and five live ammunition.
