Errol Spence Jr. has spoken, and he wants Senator Manny “Pacman” Pacquaio in his comeback bout after suffering injuries in a car crash last October 2019.

Originally matched up against Danny Garcia in January, the bout was canceled because of Spence Jr.’s recovery period while also facing issues amid the COVID-19 pandemic causing havoc across the United States.

In a Premier Boxing Champions (PBC) Instagram live video where the IBF and WBC welterweight champion Spence Jr. spoke, he emphasized that facing a caliber like Pacman would be the perfect opponent to unify the 147-division.

Spence Jr. discussed Pacman’s legendary status as one of the best pound for pound fighters boxing has ever seen, adding that the accolades the Filipino slugger acquired were unmatched.

Also, Spence Jr. revealed his main plan this 2020, stating that if Pacquaio would want another opponent, he will shift his focus on facing WBA champion Terrence Crawford.

Boxing fans are already anticipating the Spence Jr.- Crawford fight, with analysts saying that to cement his name in the welterweight division, Spence Jr. should face the younger and hungrier Crawford than the already established Pacman.

The WBA champ also expressed his desire in fighting Spence Jr., saying that he already slew all the big dogs in the division and Spence Jr. is the only one left.

However, Pacquiao’s performance against top welterweight Keith Thurman proved doubters wrong, with others saying that he looked more ferocious and faster, defying father time.

Analysts also claimed that Pacquiao may be on another level and may reach another peak of his own with the new techniques he showed in his bout against Thurman.
