Sto. Rosario Elementary School gets handwashing facility

The Rotary Club Metro Bacolod and Bacolod-Silay Airport (BSA) Police donated a handwashing facility to Sto. Rosario Elementary School in Silay City, Negros Occidental on November 7.

Police Major Deejay Domingo, chief of the BSA Police Station of the PNP Aviation Security Group, said the project was materialized after the teachers sought their help for the construction of a handwash facility in the school.

The project started in 2019, but it did not push through because of lack of funding brought about by the pandemic.

It was only completed this year when the teachers visited them again to discuss the said project.

Fortunately, the BSA Police got a support from the Rotary, K5 Distribution, and Mr. Larry Kilayko for the materialization of the project, which is in line with the PNP outreach program. (Contributed photos)
