Former San Sebastian Golden Stags main man and Gilas Pilipinas young cadet Allyn Bulanadi will now play for the San Miguel Beermen in the upcoming 2023 PBA Governor’s Cup.

Days after announcing that their guard Paul Zamar has been relegated to a restricted free agent, the Beermen finalized a deal with the NorthPort Batang Pier that gave them the rights to Bulanadi.

Bulanadi was initially acquired by the Batang Pier from the Converge FiberXers but San Miguel counter-offered with Zamar and their PBA Season 51 Rookie Draft second-round pick.

Zamar first wanted to sign with the Blackwater Bossing franchise but the Beermen was quick to find offers for their restricted free agent.

Now with Bulanadi on the block for head coach Leo Austria and the Beermen, the team is expected to score more points and exhaust the opposing team’s defensive schemes.

Way back in his NCAA days, Bulaadi was hailed as the league’s top scorer despite failing to lead San Sebastian to a championship title.

His offensive prowess became the sole reason why he was hand-picked by head coach Tab Baldwin and the rest of the staff to be a part of the young national team squad.

However, Bulanadi never made his Gilas Pilipinas international debut after being ruled out for one year due to an injury.

Bulanadi will be fortifying San Miguel’s backcourt and will be teaming up with Marcio Lassiter, CJ Perez, Simon Enciso, Terrence Romeo, and Chris Ross.

The leftie shooter impressed during his 21-game stint with Converge and averaged 5.10 points and 1.14 rebounds per game.
