After all the obstacles getting into the UFC, Mark Striegl is finally ready to make his highly-anticipated debut.

Supposed to fight earlier but was postponed due to him contracting COVID-19, Striegl completed his quarantine and was able to test negative in the re-swab to finally put his name available for the upcoming fight cards.

In his return, the top Filipino MMA fighter will have to defy the odds and take down UFC champion Khabib Nurmagomedov’s cousin, Said Nurmagomedov.

The heavy-hitting Russian fighter stands with a 13-2 win-loss record and is looking to bounce back hard after having his seven-game winning streak snapped last December.

Meanwhile, the former URCC champion will look to continue his four-match winning streak and display the poise and experience of a champion against Said.

Striegl is currently finishing his preparations ahead of his fight date on October 17 in Abu Dhabi, UFC Fight Night: Ortega vs Korean Zombie.
