The UST Growling Tigers packed their bags after the Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF) on Emerging Infectious Diseases and the UAAP officials found out about their secret practice bubble in Sorsogon.
Already heading into their third month of intensive practice, the coach Aldin Ayo led team will have to leave their bubble after violating quarantine protocols imposed by the national government and the UAAP.
The subject matter then reached the higher body, the Philippine Sports Commission (PSC) and its chairman, William Ramirez.
However, the PSC board decided to leave all the issues and verdict to the UAAP council, adding that the latter has more authority over the issue.
After CJ Cansino departed from the team, the former King Growling Tiger spilled that his mental health was affected during their bubble.
He also revealed getting homesick and even asked his coaching staff if he could go home to get some rest.
Things unexpectedly went awry after Cansino revealed that he was immediately kicked out of the team for no reason.
As of this time, the UST squad has yet to release an official statement regarding their alleged training bubble in Sorsogon.
