BACOLOD City – A vendor who was reported missing over the weekend was found dead Monday at Purok 7, Barangay Linao, Kabankalan City, Negros Occidental.
Police identified the victim as Bryan Cabrera, 29, of Barangay Salong.
Citing his mother, police investigation indicated that Cabrera left their house on September 9 to go to work.
But he failed to return that night, prompting his family to report him missing on Sunday, September 10.
The following day, his decomposing body was found in the irrigation canal at the roadside near his motorcycle.
According to the police, the victim overshot into the canal and drowned in the water.
