Volunteer fireman saves electrocuted puppy from burning house

BACOLOD City – A member of the Chamber Volunteer Fire Brigade here received positive reactions online after he saved a puppy which was electrocuted in a burning house at Barangay Alijis here over the weekend.

Albert Mendoza, also a dog lover, said he was responding to a fire call when he saw an unconscious puppy.

He did not hesitate to resuscitate the puppy for three minutes until it gained its consciousness.

Many netizens praised him online and congratulated him for a job well done and for his kindness.

Mendoza, in his Facebook post, said he felt good knowing that many people appreciated his gesture to help save the life of a puppy.

“Kanami sang feeling na kadamo sang nag pasalamat kag gamensahe sa mga halamdumon naton sa pag boluntaryo ko sa serbisyo na makabulig kag makasalbar sang kabuhi. Wala manggad o kwarta na makatupong sang inyo nga pagdayaw sa akon nahimo,” he said.

“I’m a dog lover and a firefighter who turned superhero to a loving puppy,” he added.
