A suspected drug pusher was arrested in a police anti-narcotics operation afternoon of March 1, 2021 in Pavia, Iloilo.

The Pavia police collared Jan Lorenz Sabidalas, 25, a resident of Purok IV, Pavia, after he allegedly sold marijuana for P2,000 at Barangay Pandac.

Major Jojo Tabaloc, Pavia police chief, said that police operatives recovered from Sabidalas plastic sachets containing dried marijuana leaves and fruiting tops with an estimated street value of P4,000, the P2,000 marked money, an Android phone, and a motorcycle.

Tabaloc said that Sabidalas is a newly identified drug personality and had no previous arrest for any misdemeanor.

Police could not yet confirm if Sabidalas had any link with Marc John Wendam who was arrested in a Jan. 7, 2021 marijuana sting operation.

Wendam, 27, a resident of Barangay Aganan, Pavia, yielded a kilo of marijuana placed in five ziplock plastic bags with an estimated street value of P150,000, a digital weighing scale, and a mobile phone.

Wendam was also a newly identified drug personality, Tabaloc said. He was arrested after the apprehension of his down line.

The supply came from Manila and were inserted inside the bag of ukay-ukay garments.

The suspect made his payment to his supplier through GCash.

Just like Wendam, Sabidalas will also be charged for violation of Republic Act 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002).
