A woman was arrested in a police anti-narcotics operation evening of Dec. 2, 2019 in Mandurriao, Iloilo City.
Shanly Oribe, 36, a maintenance worker at a condominium building in Mandurriao district, was arrested at her place in Barangay Tabucan.
Members of the Iloilo City Police Station 5 apprehended the suspect after she sold a sachet of suspected shabu for P1,500.
When later frisked, the suspect yielded 6 more sachets of suspected shabu and P6,000 cash on top of the buy bust money.
Police Major Marlon Valencia, Mandurriao police chief, said the suspect was listed as a street level pusher. She was subjected to Oplan Tokhang but did not surrender.
Oribe admitted using drugs but she allegedly stopped more than three years ago.
Valencia claimed that she got her drug supply from Bacolod City.
Oribe is now detained and will be charged for violation of Republic Act 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002).
