BACOLOD City – A 20-year-old woman was injured by a stray bullet following a commotion between a married couple at Sitio Panuolan, Barangay Guadalupe, San Carlos City, Negros Occidental last Saturday.

According to the police, the victim went to a nearby sari-sari store along with her cousin when the suspect identified as 55-year-old Ronnie Canubas Sr., a construction worker, and his wife figured in a heated argument.

Canubas then allegedly drew his firearm and fired it. The bullet hit the victim’s thigh and she was immediately taken to San Carlos City Hospital where she is now in stable condition.
