The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) in Region 6 has started the conduct
of the 2022 National Demographic and Health Survey (NDHS) data collection
from May 2 to June 21, 2022 in all provinces in Western Visayas using
the Computer-Assisted Personal Interviewing (CAPI) System installed in android tablets.
The 2022 NDHS is a national sample survey designed to provide information
on population, marriage, fertility, family planning, child health, child survival, HIV/AIDS, and other sexually transmitted infections (STIs), reproductive health, nutrition, women empowerment, domestic violence, gender issues, tobacco and alcohol use, and information on child discipline and early childhood development.
Respondents to the 2022 NDHS are women who are 15 to 49 years old from randomly selected households. The survey aims to provide helpful inputs to policy formulation, planning, and research related to health and family planning of both the government and private sectors.
In connection with this, the PSA Region VI is soliciting the public support and cooperation in the conduct of the said survey.
All collected data will be held strictly confidential in compliance with the Data Privacy Act of 2012.
