BACOLOD City – Negros Occidental Governor Eugenio Jose Lacson told Authorized Persons Outside of Residence (APORs) to strictly comply with additional health requirements imposed by the province or else they will be denied entry.

Lacson on Wednesday issued Executive Order No. 20-33 which set additional health requirements for APORs entering the province of Negros Occidental for official business, (OB), emergency travel (ET) and indispensable travel (IT).

Lacson said APORs enjoy the privilege of unrestricted movement throughout the duration of the community quarantine status, however they have become carriers of SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes COVID-19.

He said the province sees the need to regulate the movement of APORs by imposing additional health and safety protocols they are allowed into the province.

“Failure to comply to the set of requirements will result to the APOR being denied entry into our borders.”
